The Open Spaces Art Gallery at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center.

Edutainment Productions at Open Space Arts in Woodbridge will present “Broadway: The Heartbeat of NYC’s Art & Culture,” featuring a gallery experience that celebrates the cultural significance of Broadway theater and multi-discipline productions.

The exhibit will open Oct. 30 and run throughout November and includes works on canvas portraying the bustling streets of Times Square along with set designs and costumes crafted for the Broadway stage.

The event also includes a series of performances in Open Space’s new cabaret room starring veteran Broadway artist Herb Williams.

“Williams’ resume reads like a multifaceted roadmap to the performing arts,” said Donnell Taylor, executive director of Edutainment Productions. “He has shared the stage with such artists as Toni Tennille, Petula Clark, Mary Wilson and Ben Vereen to name a few.”

The opening night reception for the exhibit will be Nov. 8 from 6-9 p.m.

Tickets for cabaret performances are $25 and shows run on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays after the opening night reception. Reservations for the cabaret performance are not necessary, but highly encouraged as space is limited.

Venue: Open Space Arts, 15000 Potomac Town Center, Suite 140, Woodbridge, 22191
