Three suspects have been charged in the abduction and murder of a 43-year-old Triangle man who was handcuffed and shot multiple times in his car this weekend.

On Thursday, detectives obtained arrest warrants and later apprehended the men in Sunday's shooting death of Jason Thomas Blake of Woodbridge.

Police were called to the 18500 block of Triangle Street in Triangle at 10:34 a.m. Sunday, after an acquaintance found Blake in the backseat of his vehicle. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The investigation revealed on Oct. 25, the victim met with multiple acquaintances ... at a home on Cherry Hill Road in Dumfries to purchase narcotics and sell a firearm," Prince William County police Lt. Jonathan Perok said in a news release.

During the encounter, an altercation ensued and the victim was handcuffed and forcibly abducted from the house against his will, according to police.

Blake was eventually taken to a secluded area along Triangle Street where he was shot and killed.
